Manifest alpha is live!

Manifest alpha is live

Today we're opening the Manifest alpha to a small group of early users. Here's what's in the first build and how to make the most of it.

What's included

The alpha focuses on the four things we believe matter most:

  1. Groups — create as many as you want. They map to your real life: family, close friends, work mentors, gym crew, alumni network. You decide who's in each one.
  2. Goals — share a goal with one circle or many. Big goals, small goals, anything you'd want help with.
  3. Milestones — break a goal into pieces. Each one becomes a moment your people can show up for.
  4. Updates and notes — keep context where it belongs: attached to the goal it's about, not buried in a chat.

That's it. We deliberately left out a lot of stuff for v1 because we wanted the core experience to be clean.

How to start

The thing we keep telling new alpha users: start small. Pick one person you trust, invite them, and share one goal. That's enough to feel the difference from a group chat.

If that goes well, expand. Add a circle. Invite a few more people. The product is designed to grow into your life — not all at once, but over time.

What we're paying attention to

In the alpha, we're watching closely for:

  • Whether people invite their second person (signal that the first interaction worked)
  • Whether goals get updates over time (signal that goals are sticking, not getting abandoned)
  • What kinds of help people actually offer each other (signal of what features to build next)

If you have feedback — anything at all — please send it to <alpha@manifest-app.org>. We read everything.

What's next

We're already working on the next batch of features based on what alpha users are asking for. We won't pre-announce, but expect updates every few weeks.

Welcome to Manifest. Let's build something that makes your network actually work for you.
