Why we built this
I had a big network. When I needed real support, I couldn't ask.
I spent years building startups across different cities and countries. By any measure, I had a large network. But when things got hard, or I actually needed support, it felt impossible to ask.
LinkedIn had stopped being a place for real connection. I didn't know how to invite people in at the right moment without it feeling awkward. And I was drifting from people I genuinely wanted to help, because 30-minute catchups across a hundred people, while still building, was never going to happen.
Social media made it worse. It replaced signal with noise. The platforms built to connect us now optimize for content to watch, not people to care about.
So I built the thing I needed. Manifest is not another social network. It is a private layer for the relationships that actually matter, where goals move, support flows, and real connection has a place to live.
